- Coffee pods can now be put out in a Podback bag for collection with regular bins (start here: https://www.podback.org/recycle-checker)

- House of Coffee, Peacock Alley, Lake Street (re-use their paper coffee bags for a 25p discount off your next bag of beans or ground coffee)
Contact lens cases
- Boots Opticians, Waterborne Walk (they either have a box next to the counter, or will take a bag of cases from you)

Crisp packets
- Tesco, Vimy Road (the trolley is on the Homebase side of the entrance porch, marked ‘Soft Plastic’)
Glassware
- Tesco (glass recycling containers in the car park)
- The Refill, Friday Street (you can donate cleaned and delabelled jars for customers to use when shopping)
Makeup
- Tesco, Vimy Road (Maybelline/TerraCycle container for any brand of old makeup packaging including mascara wands, empty lipstick cases, tubes and compact. Near the tills and notice boards)

- Selections, High Street (takes old newspapers to pack goods they sell online)

Plastic bottles and drinks cans

Shoes

Soft plastics
- Tesco, Vimy Road (the trolley is on the Homebase side of the entrance porch, marked ‘Soft Plastic’)

- We understand the charity shops take ‘rags’, i.e. unusable old textiles
