One of our earliest campaigns in 2006 aimed to give local residents better access to public transport information in Leighton Buzzard.
We implemented a permanent display in the library to:
- give clear and concise local bus information
- provide guidance for existing users
- help those who wish to use alternative forms of transport on a regular basis or for days out.
The display was supported and funded by Bedfordshire Rural Transport Partnership and Bedfordshire County Council.
The display was so successful it led to the production of bus maps in Leighton Buzzard High Street, at bus stops, and in community centres and shops.
